Complaints PolicyRonald McDonald House Charities Toronto, operating under the legal name Toronto Children’s Care Inc., is committed to resolving any complaints and concerns in a timely, fair and consistent manner.
As a charity providing services to the community, we hold all donors, partners, volunteers and community members in high esteem. While seeking donations in support of the organization’s mission, employees, volunteers and members of the Board of Directors have an ethical responsibility to uphold the interest and well-being of our benefactors and comply with all established policies.
We respond promptly to a complaint by a donor, prospective donor or any member of the public. The staff member receiving the complaint will attempt to satisfy the complainant’s concerns in the first instance. Our Board of Directors will be informed at least annually of the number, type and disposition of complaints received from donors or prospective donors about matters that are addressed in Imagine Canada’s Ethical Code. In addition, they will be informed at least annually of the number, type and disposition of complaints received from members of the public regarding policy matters.
