Michelle is Senior Legal Counsel and Assistant Secretary of the Board of Governors at Ryerson University, where she provides legal and strategic advice in the areas of corporate/commercial law, information technology, procurement, access to information, privacy, copyright and governance. Prior to joining Ryerson in 2014, she practised law for seven years with Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Michelle has a master’s degree in environmental studies from York University and earned her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to joining the Board in 2017, she served on the RMHC Toronto Young Professionals Committee and on the Governance and Nominations Committee of the Board.
