Your support can continue to make a difference for families

To our RMHC Toronto community,

As you may be aware, a Canada Post strike has been announced, which will delay the arrival of mailed donations and disrupt our ability to communicate with you via mail.

This is a critical time for fundraising here at RMHC Toronto. As you can imagine, a large portion of our donations come in during the holiday season and as a 100% community-funded organization we rely on your support to make sure families caring for a seriously ill child can benefit from our services.

With the changing paediatric landscape and more families turning to RMHC Toronto for support – whether through staying at our Ronald McDonald House or accessing one of our seven Family Rooms, or 20+ wrap around services, your support is even more crucial to serve the thousands of families we see each year.

If you’ve recently mailed a donation to us, please rest assured that we will process it as soon as it is received.

We’re here to answer any questions you may have regarding how we’re responding to the delays, so you can continue to hear from us.

If you haven’t yet had the chance to give, there are several ways to ensure your generosity reaches families who need it most:

  • By Phone: Donors can call 416-977-0458, ext. 297 to make a contribution over the phone. We will return any messages within 24-business hours.
  • In-Person Donations: Donations can be dropped off in person to 240 McCaul Street.

We’re incredibly grateful for your continued support and your compassion for families with seriously ill children.
