Volunteers make the difference for families and children.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Toronto runs in large part because of the commitment and compassion of our more than 500 volunteers.

Why volunteer

Make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.

Learn new things, develop your skills, and express your passion.

Receive support from a strong volunteer resources team.

As a volunteer, you are a key member of the RMHC Toronto team. To ensure we’re providing the best possible experience for our volunteers, we follow The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement.

We would never think of placing you in a role without training! We provide orientation and training for all our volunteers regardless of the position they apply to.

Our goal is to have you volunteering within three weeks from the time you first apply. However, this also depends whether we have positions available that suit your application.

You must be 18 years or older to volunteer at the House or in our Family Rooms.

First things first. Decide which position you want to apply for. Take your time while reading through our volunteer postings and make your choice. You can find the link to our online application on the Current Openings page.
