A gift in your Will makes a promise to our families, forever.

Every single day, we are here to provide help, hope and love to families with a seriously ill child. And every single day, our families are at the heart of everything we do.

For over 39 years, and with the crucial support of caring and committed donors like you, RMHC Toronto has been a home for families during the most difficult times in their lives. Moms, dads and siblings have heavy hearts when a child in their family is sick. And this home, because of you, comforts their soul and lifts their hearts.

Together with donors like you, we can make a promise to families that we will always be here for what they need. We have adapted and changed over the years, and we will continue to respond and adapt to the needs of the families that we serve.

Sample Will Wording

Please use our legal name in your Will: Toronto Children’s Care Inc.

For a specific dollar amount: “I give to Toronto Children’s Care Inc., Charitable Registration # 11885 2631 RR0001, the sum of $____, to be used at the discretion of the organization.”

For a specified percentage of the residue of your estate: “I give to Toronto Children’s Care Inc., Charitable Registration # 11885 2631 RR0001, all (or ____ %) of the residue of my estate, to be used at the discretion of the organization.”

A gift in your Will ensures that the needs of families with critically ill children will be supported well into the future. Demand for our service is growing. You can make a significant impact on countless families, far greater than you may have been able to in your lifetime.

Not at all. A gift of any amount is a thoughtful and generous way to keep families and their critically ill children together.

It’s flexible. Your gift can be for a specific amount, a percentage of your estate or any amount that’s remaining after your estate’s other concerns are settled. It allows you to take care of both your loved ones and your favourite charities.

Anyone—of any age—can. It is ideal for donors who want to maintain their cash flow today and retain assets during their lifetime, while still supporting causes that are important to them. It is also a natural choice for those interested in saving on estate taxes.
