An established and visionary leader, we look forward to increasing our impact and expanding our reach with Tania at the helm

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Tania Little as our new CEO. With a wealth of experience as a visionary leader, Tania has made significant contributions to communities across the country during her more than two dozen years in the social sector.

Tania has a proven track record of achieving the seemingly impossible. From spearheading campaigns that raised hundreds of millions of dollars to orchestrating transformative growth during her tenure at Food Banks Canada, Tania has helped many local, national and international charities achieve phenomenal growth and impact.

Beyond her professional achievements, Tania’s commitment to philanthropy is evidenced through her active involvement on various boards: from championing causes with the Canadian Marketing Association’s Not for Profit & Public Sector Council and dedicating her time to the Association of Fundraising Professionals, to her past service with Planned Parenthood Toronto.

Tania’s passion for empowering individuals and nurturing stronger, healthier communities is what drew her to RMHC Toronto. As a devoted mom to five children and a joyful grandparent to three beautiful grandchildren, the importance of keeping families together when they need each other the most is something that Tania deeply understands.

“Having a seriously ill child affects all aspects of a family system – from the financial stress to the impact of having to spend time apart or far from home. RMHC Toronto does incredible work in providing safe and compassionate spaces close to the medical treatment sick children need, to help families navigate this incredibly stressful time together. I’m so proud to join this mission and be a part of this important work,” says Tania.

Tania will work alongside Interim CEO Victor Rocca, who will transition to a strategic advisor role, before returning to his appointment as RMHC Toronto Board Director as of September 1.

“On behalf of the RMHC Toronto Board, I extend our sincere gratitude to Victor Rocca, a long-time Board member, for his leadership in stepping up as Interim CEO in April,” says Denise. “Victor has made an impact in ensuring continued excellence in delivering on our mission during the permanent search.”
