Sign up today to wear red and white stripes and walk the block for RMHC Toronto families.

Going for a walk is good for your health – and it can also help seriously ill children and their families stay together during challenging times.

Now in its second year, Wear Your Stripes uses the power of walking as a way to come together as a community and raise funds for the RMHC Toronto families who need us – now, more than ever.

In Canada, two out of three families live outside a city with a specialty children’s hospital, which means they must travel for medical treatment if their child becomes seriously ill. RMHC Toronto gives families a place where they can stay together, within walking distance to the hospital. Families walk at least 1.4km daily from our House in downtown Toronto to the hospital where their child is being treated.

This fall, we’re asking you to show your love for our families by signing up for Wear Your Stripes. Register now, start fundraising, and on the weekend of September 17-18, proudly wear your striped apparel and symbolically join families in their daily walk as you Walk the Block for Families – downtown, in your neighbourhood, or even on the treadmill.

All funds raised during Wear Your Stripes go directly toward our mission of keeping families of seriously ill children together during treatment.

Your support helps ensure we can be there for families today — and for years to come.

Share photos of your stripes on social media, and your posts will show your love to the thousands of families each year who rely on RMHC Toronto to keep them close to their seriously ill children in hospital. Remember to tag us in your posts and use the hashtag #WearYourStripesToronto.

When you Wear Your Stripes, you make every step a little easier for families.
