Sony Canada Charitable Foundation’s support spans more than 10 years.

At RMHC Toronto, we provide the comforts of home to families that need to travel for their child’s medical treatment. This includes everyday spaces, like a comfortable living room to watch TV or a DVD. Thanks to the Sony Canada Charitable Foundation’s support, our House and Family Rooms have been outfitted with up-to-date electronics for over 10 years.

Sony Canada Charitable Foundation’s generous support goes beyond the donation of products such as TVs, Blu Ray players, PlayStation consoles, tablets, games, cameras, and video equipment. For many years, their staff have also hosted our volunteer-run Home For Dinner meal program, sponsored RMHC Toronto events, and organized employee giving from Sony Canada.

Support from the Sony Canada Charitable Foundation has a direct and immediate impact on families staying with RMHC Toronto. Home-cooked meals ensure families have something nutritious to eat after a long day at the hospital, while televisions and game consoles give children and their parents a way to relax or spend time together. Sony television screens in our lobby help us ensure that families are kept up-to-date with important announcements and information. The commitment and dedication of the Sony Canada Charitable Foundation to our mission has helped to provide thousands of families with the comforts of home when they have a seriously ill child in hospital.

We are extremely proud to have partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada for over a decade by supporting families in their time of need and providing some comforts of home.
