Our thanks to the golfers and sponsors who made this event such a success!

It was a perfect day of bright sun and cool breezes at our 21st Annual Charity Golf Classic at The Thornhill Club on Monday, July 17, 2023. 186 golfers turned out to enjoy a day of sport and camaraderie – and all for a good cause. This year’s tournament raised $240,000 to support families with seriously ill children at RMHC Toronto.

The success of the event is a testament to the incredible generosity and compassion of our sponsors – led by our presenting sponsor, Scotiabank. The day’s highlights included friendly golf competitions, live and silent auctions, a generous selection of golfer gifts, and a catered lunch followed by a cocktail reception. Participants also got to hear firsthand from a mom who is currently staying at Ronald McDonald House in downtown Toronto. She shared her family’s poignant journey, as well as her gratitude to the supporters who have had such an impact on her family.

“This event is not just about golf,” says RMHC Toronto Interim CEO, Victor Rocca. “It’s about building a strong community that comes together to help families in their time of need. We are truly grateful to all our sponsors, participants, and supporters for making this day so memorable. Your generosity provides comfort and support to families facing difficult circumstances.”
