We’re feeling grateful for our volunteers during National Volunteer Week.
Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week, which is a great opportunity for us to thank the over 500 volunteers at our House and our Family Rooms.
At RMHC Toronto, we believe volunteers are the heart of our organization. This has proved to be true as our volunteers have remained dedicated to our mission while the circumstances of our current environment are keeping them from being with us.
Our volunteers support families in many unique ways. Whether it’s activity programming, Family Services support, or Family Room support, they play an important role that is very much missed during this time.
“I feel so lucky to work with people who are so passionate about our mission and make a difference in so many ways. Please know I still appreciate your support every day,” says Teresa Tam, Senior Coordinator of Volunteer Engagement.
Thank you to our volunteers for your commitment and support to keep families with seriously ill children together.
